Potomac median home prices rose by 70% in 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in 2021 in Potomac rose by $35,000 while total sales increased by 28.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2021, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $85,000 - a 70% increase over the $50,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Potomac in 2020.

The median sales tax in Potomac for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,359, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for 2021.
