Report: Potomac School District spent $9,883 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Potomac Community Unit School District 10 was up 7.9 percent from five years ago, according to the Chambana Sun analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Vermilion County school district spent $9,157 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,883 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 166 to 144 students over the same period.

Potomac's spending in 2019-20 was 31.8 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
