Report: Thomasboro School District spent $14,225 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Thomasboro Community Consolidated School District 130 was up 35 percent from five years ago, according to the Chambana Sun analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Champaign County school district spent $10,540 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,225 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 163 to 169 students over the same period.

Thomasboro's spending in 2019-20 was 1.8 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
