Report: Oakwood School District spent $9,676 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Oakwood Community Unit School District 76 was up 0.7 percent from five years ago, according to the Chambana Sun analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Vermilion County school district spent $9,611 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,676 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 1,022 to 972 students over the same period.

Oakwood's spending in 2019-20 was 33.2 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
