Illinois State University issued the following announcement on Nov. 17
The Office of Student Research announced submissions are open for the 2022 Image of Research competition.
Students are asked to create or capture one compelling, static image of their research and submit it along with a brief (150-word maximum) narrative that explains how the image represents the research.
Open to Illinois State University undergraduate and graduate students, entries will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. December 3. Those interested can see Full Competition Details and FAQs about formatting the image. For additional information, contact the Office of Student Research.
Undergraduate Student Awards
1st Place: $200
2nd Place: $150
Honorable Mention(s): $50
People’s Choice: $100
Graduate Student Awards
1st Place: $200

Finalists announced
Finalists will be announced early in the 2022 spring semester. A Finalists’ Exhibit and Reception will be from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, February 3 at the University Galleries.
