“Reading as little as 10-15 minutes a day can help keep students’ minds sharp and on track for the next school year,” Bennett said. “I encourage students to take advantage of this opportunity and participate in this book club during the summer months.”
Those who complete the Summer Book Club will receive a gift card and certificate from Bennett, his website reported. Book club forms are available on the senator’s website. He urges residents to call his office with additional questions at 217-355-5252, or his Danville office at 217-442-5252
“Reading can be fun, and this program will give kids a kick-start,” Bennett said.
