Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Community Unified School District 5 issued the following announcement on Mar. 5.
Although we are unable to perform a large scale musical this year, we are excited to present to you our virtual play, Help Desk.
Help Desk is a series of vignettes where customers call into a help center for various (and often ridiculous) problems, and are (sometimes) assisted by the employee that answers the phone. The scenes are full of comedy and fun, and- if you have ever called a company assistance hotline- likely a bit relatable.
The show will be available online, and will ONLY be available to be viewed from 7:00 am Friday March 19th to 11:59 pm on Saturday, March 20th. Viewing this show will be free of charge, but in order to view it you must fill out the following form:
When you fill out this form, you will be asked for your email address. Prior to the performance streaming, you will receive a link to the private YouTube link. (Please note: You must fill out an RSVP in order to get access to this link.) This will then allow you to access the link at any time during the time frame mentioned above, and you may view the show as many times as you would like within that time frame.
