December 21: COVID-19 linked to 1 Hammond death during 7 day period starting December 14

One person died as a result of complications related to a COVID-19 infection in Hammond during the seven-day period that began on December 14, according to the Cook County Government.

The county updates death totals daily as they receive more data. As a result, these figures are likely to change as more data becomes available.
