Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Community Unified School District 5 issued the following announcement on Aug. 1.
There will be an informational meeting on August 5 at 7:00 in the HS cafeteria. We will discuss expectations for the season as well as tryout information. If you have athletic paperwork to turn in, please bring it with you. ALL athletes must have their physical and paperwork turned in before tryouts on August 10. In order to keep our overall numbers down for the meeting, we will only allow athletes at the meeting. There will be a parent meeting announced for all players who make the team at a later date.
