CITY OF MONTICELLO: Legal Notice of Public Hearing For Possible Text Amendments

City of Monticello issued the following announcement on July 31.

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the City of Monticello Planning and Zoning Board to consider possible text amendments to the City of Monticello Municipal Code, Chapter 153, Zoning Regulations, regarding medical and adult use cannabis business establishments, and such other further zoning approvals as may be required.

The public hearing will be held at a meeting of the Planning and Zoning Board scheduled for Monday, August 17th, 2020 at 7:00 P.M. in the Livingston Center, 224 E. Livingston Street, Monticello, Illinois. All interested persons have the right to appear at the public hearing and present evidence.

At this time, members of the public are also able to attend public meetings by web conference, instead of in person, and to submit public comment by email, voicemail, or through web conference. Submitted comments must be received by the City Clerk no later than 12 P.M. on Monday, August 17th, 2020. Comments can be emailed to the address below, or dropped off at the Monticello Municipal Building, 210 N. Hamilton Street, Monticello, Illinois.
