Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Community Unified School District 5 issued the following announcement on June 25.
Covid cancelled the nation wide FARA rides but the GCMS Interact will be hosting our own version of a Ride/Walk for Ataxia event. Mark your calendars for Tuesday evening, July 14. If it’s too hot to participate, that’s the perfect weather to patronize Crowbridge Farms Ice Cream, Stone Cold Shaved Ice or Mom and Pop’s Popcorn trailers because they’ll be onsite, too! We have a bake sale and basket raffle in the works, as well! Please consider donating to the important research FARA supports and help them find a cure!
