CITY OF GIBSON: Water Bills Payment Through Online Website

City of Gibson issued the following announcement on May 9.

For those who are paying their Water Bills through our online website, we have provided a step-by-step walk through for those who are in need or have any confusion. There are instructions for both desktop vs. mobile versions.The steps are listed below, along with pictures:

For DESKTOP COMPUTER USERS:

1. Go to gibsoncityillinois.com.

2. Once it opens, you should see the home page with multiple tabs on the top (Listed Home, About, Government, etc.). One tab lists PAY BILLS. The PAY BILLS tab drops down to list a few items including WATER BILL; click on it.

3. It will take you to the Pay Online Page. There, you can choose which payment method you prefer: by card or by electronic check.

4. It will take you to the pay online billing information page. Here, you will have to fill out all your billing info, including your account number and billing amount. Once finished, you can scroll down to click next, and then finish submitting your payment on the final page.

5. After submitting your payment, you should receive a confirmation saying that you completed the payment.If you do not receive confirmation, it is very likely your payment was not submitted. So please take the time to read all the instructions carefully.

For MOBILE/PHONE USERS:

1.Go to gibsoncityillinois.com.

2. It should take you to the home page, and there should be three black lines listed in the top right-hand corner, click them. This will take you to the drop down menu.

(IF YOU CANNOT CLICK THEM AND IT TAKES YOU BACK TO THE MAIN PAGE, PLEASE PHYSICALLY TURN YOUR PHONE SO THAT IT IS HORIZONTAL. You will then be able to access the menu.

3. Once you access the drop down menu, scroll till you find PAY BILLS, and under it: Water Bill.

4. The process then follows the same steps listed above to complete your payment.
