Rantoul Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on April 4.
Hello friends! Here are some ways that you can help our community!
1. Shop Local- Purchase your supplies locally, purchase gift cards from restaurants, order curbside, encourage your friends to order curbside.
2. Call your business owner friends to see how you can help
3. Check on Neighbors and Friends-Offer assistance to at risk neighbors
4. Volunteer
5. Share Facebook posts of local businesses
6. The Community Service Center of Northern Champaign County is not currently accepting food donations, however they are still distributing and accepting monetary donations. Call: 217-893-1530 and drive up to the back door.
7. Don't forget to check on Daycare workers, Server Friends, Bartenders, and others who might have been greatly impacted by the recent changes.
Be patient, remember that kindness & grace go a long way during hardships such as these.

*Village Hall of Rantoul, IL is closed to the public, however still operating, you can pay your electric bill via the dropbox.
