Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Community Unified School District 5 issued the following announcement on Feb. 3.
Eastern Illinois University and the College of Education is offering an Accelerated Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Licensure Program. This program will provide a one-year pathway, including all coursework and field experiences, leading to full educator licensure in the following content areas and grade spans:
Mathematics (9-12)
Science (Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Physics) (9-12)
English (9-12)
Career and Technical Education (Business Education, Family and Consumer Sciences, Technology Education (6-12)
Foreign Language (French, German, Spanish) (K-12).
History-Social Science
