Rantoul City School District 137 issued the following announcement on Jan. 15.
This week at our elementary schools please attend the Safe Routes to School Info Meetings held at each school 5:00-6:30 by the Regional Planning Commission. Your input will help with the development of the Village of Rantoul Transportation Plan! You do not need to have children in school to provide YOUR needed input. Convenient Locations to hear from you!
Eastlawn: Mon, Jan 13th
Pleasant Acres: Tues, Jan 14th
Broadmeadow: Wed, Jan 15th
Northview: Thur, Jan 16th
Fliers went home last week with detailed info:
• Learn how to make walking & biking to school safer,
• Comment on the existing issues you have about transportation in Rantoul, and;
• Provide ideas you have for the future of transportation in Rantoul.
• Be entered in a raffle to win a set of bike lights!
