City of Gibson issued the following announcement on Oct. 31.
Congratulations to our Police Department! On October 30, 2019, the Gibson City Police Department was presented a Grant from the Norfolk-Southern Railroad, as cited from the Ford County Record below:
"Gibson City Police Chief Adam Rosendahl, left, and Capt. Kaleb Kraft, right, are presented with a $2,000 grant from Ty Hildum, representing the Norfolk-Southern Railroad. The grant from the railroad will be used by the police department for safety equipment. “The Gibson City Police Department would like to thank Norfolk-Southern for their support and thank Ty Hildum for taking his valuable time to present the grant in person,” the police department said in a news release."
