Mansfield home prices fall in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Mansfield fell by $3,500 while total sales decreased by 9.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 19 homes sold, with a median sale price of $120,000 - a 2.8% decrease over the $123,500 median sale price for the previous year. There were 21 homes sold in Mansfield in 2016.

The median sales tax in Mansfield for 2017 was $2,114. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,949. This marks an increase of 8.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
