GIBSON CITY-MELVIN-SIBLEY COMMUNITY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT 5: Illinois Army National Guard visits GCMS High School

Teambuilding

Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Community Unified School District 5 issued the following announcement on Sept. 24.

The Illinois Army National Guard visits GCMS High School twice a year to inform students of the physical, collegiate, career, patriotic and financial benefits that the National Guard can offer. These visits are more than just informative, they are fun.

On September 17th, 4 active National Guard members brought in two very large inflatables. No, they aren't bouncy houses, they are Human Foosball inflatables. The students are Velcroed to ropes that limit their movement as they pass the ball around to score goals. Students quickly realize they must use utilize their entire team to win the game. Great Teamwork Everybody!
