Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Community Unified School District 5 issued the following announcement on Aug. 14.
Our new PE/Health teacher at GCMS High School is not new to the career of teaching--she will be starting her 11th year of teaching this fall. Mrs. Crystal Richard is originally from the White Cloud, MI (Home of the Indians). She is married to GCMS Boys Basketball Assistant Coach, AJ Richard, and they have two boys at home. In her free time Mrs. Richard enjoys playing, coaching, and watching sports and spending time at the beach with her family and friends. This summer the Richard family traveled to Europe and hope to return for another visit soon.
