2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Ford County?

There were 16 offenders released on parole during 2018 that live in Ford County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Chambana Sun.

The data shows that 15 men and one women were released in Ford County. The median age of the parolees was 31. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old man convicted of a financial crime or fraud in 2017, and the oldest was a 63-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2016.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Frank Mauricio. He was convicted of a property crime in 2010 when he was 24 years old. He is now 33.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in 2018 in each Ford County municipality.
