Illinois General Assembly: HR61 Resolution Adopted
The following action was taken on May 15 in the House on House bill HR61 ("nuclear weapon-no first use"): "Resolution Adopted."
The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. Carol Ammons (D-103) on Jan. 29, "calls on the United States to develop a policy that it will not be the first to use nuclear weapons," according to the General Assembly website.
