Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Community Unified School District 5 issued the following announcement on May 16.
Congratulations to Josh Bleich on his selection as May Student of the Month. Josh was a member of our football and basketball teams as well as the National Honor Society. In his nomination, Mr. Carter said "He is a great role model for other students in how he handles success and setbacks. Because Josh just shows up, does his job, and doesn't say a whole lot he seems to fly under the radar despite his success as a student-athlete." We couldn't agree more! Josh is the son of Bill and Kim Bleich and will be a McKendree University Bearcat next fall.
