Republican Chad D Hays's election campaign committee, Citizens for Chad Hays, spent $9,273 in the first quarter, according to committee expenditure records obtained from the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

Hays's committee spent the most on inauguration day dinner for supporters in the quarter, with all those payments ($1,742) going to Augies Front Burner in Springfield. Table 1 below shows the distribution of how Hays's committee spent its money in the first quarter.
