Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Community Unified School District 5 issued the following announcement on Nov. 4.
Your 11-0 Falcons will play Sterling Newman next Saturday, Nov 10 at 6pm on the Sterling High School field. Newman’s volleyball team has a chance at playing in the state tournament earlier that day. Out of respect for their fans and players, Coach Allen agreed to delay the football game until Saturday evening. We’re #FalconProud of advancing and will do #WhateverItTakes to keep our season alive. Go Falcons!
