School of Literatures, Cultures, and Linguistics issued the following announcement on Sept. 14.
Jeffrey Green is a visiting assistant professor in psycho/neurolinguistics in the Department of Linguistics. He directs the Electrophysiology and Language Processing Lab. Green received a PhD from the University of Maryland earlier this year. His main areas of research are sentence processing and syntax. He is also interested in pragmatics, semantics, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd language acquisition. Green is the 2017 recipient of the Howard Lasnik Award for Distinguished Teaching by a Graduate Student at the University of Maryland.
