Danville High School issued the following announcement on Aug. 7.
Welcome back Vikings!
Our first day of school will be Wednesday August 15th. We will dismiss at 2:00 PM
The first full day will be Thursday August 16th.
Our Parent Open House will be on Thursday August 21st from 6:00-7:00 PM
Our main entrance will now be at the Clock Tower doors. When entering the building please come and see the newly decorated Clock Tower.
As we begin school this year we will be featuring a second breakfast choice for all students. In addition to our regular breakfast in the cafeteria we will feature a “grab and go” selection to all students as they enter the building. Because of the change of entrance, the DHS cashier’s office will be moving to room 123 across from the principal’s office. The deans’ office will be moving near the clock tower doors into what was the “ACE” office. The nurse’s office is moving to room 138 up from the basement the guidance office is still room 213.
