Champaign City Council issued the following announcement on Aug. 1.
A new and exciting episode of Champaign Connection started airing on CGTV and streaming online on August 1. On episode 64, we devoted two segments of the show to discuss both the Use of Force Review Committee and the Citizen Review Subcommittee.We get an in-depth look into how both groups were initiated, their purpose, the introduction of citizen input, and the process they follow to add a citizen perspective to the police department’s review process.In the episode’s last segment, the community is recognizing that litter is becoming a growing problem around town. Learn how changes in our personal behavior and attitudes can help keep our community beautiful and litter free.
