Rantoul Village Citizens Advisory Committee will meet on November 9.

The Village of Rantoul and the Citizens Advisory Committee wish to invite public comments at
a public hearing to be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2017 in the Board Room of
the Rantoul Municipal Building, 333 South Tanner Street, Rantoul, Illinois.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments regarding the updating of the Citizens
Advisory Committee by-laws, updating the Citizens Participation Plan, and to start a planning
discussion for the upcoming 2018 Community Development Block Grant Program.
Beginning October 26, 2017, drafts of the proposed updates of the Citizens Advisory Committee
by-laws and the Citizens Participation Plan will be available for review in the Community
Development Office located in the Rantoul Municipal Building at 333 South Tanner Street from
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, Citizens may also review the documents at the
Rantoul Public Library located at 106 West Flessner Avenue during their normal operating
hours.
Citizens may submit written comments regarding these documents by Thursday, November 9,
