Cisco Fire Protection District responded to 23 calls in 2016, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System obtained by the East Central Reporter.

The calls in Cisco included 18 fires - four structure fires, five vehicle fires and eight other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

The department also received five false calls.
