Special Meeting June 20, 2016
A special meeting of the Arthur Board of Education was called to order by President Jake Kamm at 6:00 pm in the Arthur Unit office with the following members and administrator present: Jon
Day, Jake Kamm, Doug Kitchen, Ed Miller, Todd Wellbaum and Beth Wiley. Kenny Schwengel was also present.
A motion was made by Todd Welbaum, seconded by Doug Kitchen to appoint Brian Fay to the board. Upon roll, all members present voted yea. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Jon Day, seconded by Doug Kitchen to appoint Beth Wiley as Vice President. Upon roll, all members voted yea. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Jon Day, seconded by Doug Kitchen to appoint Todd Wellbaum as secretary. Upon roll, all members voted yea. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Todd Wellbaum, seconded by Jon Day to go into closed session at 6:05 pm to discuss appointment, employment, compensation of specific employees. Upon roll, all members voted yea. Motion carried.
The board entered back into open session at 6:30 pm.
A motion was made by Jon Day, seconded by Ed Miller to accept executive session minutes as read in executive session. Upon roll, all members voted yea. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Jon Day, seconded by Beth Wiley to approve Steffani Seegmiller as high school principal. Upon roll, all members voted yea. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Todd Wellbaum, seconded by Jon Day to adjourn at 6:32 pm. All members voted yea. Motion carried.
