The city of Urbana Police Pension Fund Board met Tuesday to receive evidence concerning the disability application of a pension candidate.
Please take notice that on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 2:00 P.M., a public hearing will be held before the Urbana Police Pension Board at the City of Urbana Municipal Building, 400 S. Vine, Urbana, Illinois, regarding the disability claim of the above applicant, pursuant to the applicable provisions of Article 3 of the Illinois Pension Code.
The Public hearing will be held to receive evidence concerning the disability application of the above applicant. The applicant is entitled to be represented by legal counsel, to present any evident and to respond to any evidence before the board.
The Pension board may adjourn to executive or closed session, pursuant to 2(c)(4) of the open meetings act, for purposes of deliberations, upon completion of the evidentiary hearing. No final action will be taken in executive/ closed session.
