Urbana firefighters pension board reviews quarterly financials

The Urbana Firefighters Pension Fund Board of Trustees will meet Friday to review its quarterly financial report.

The board of trustees also discussed a proposal to initiate a cost-sharing plan for physical examinations with the city of Urbana.

Finally, the board approved the hiring of a new actuarial firm and new auditing firm.

The board's next meeting will be July 22 at 9:30 a.m. in the Urbana City Building's second-floor conference room, 400 S. Vine St.
