The village of Rantoul is expected to get a new Holiday Inn Express hotel, following board approval at a regular board meeting Jan. 12.
The hotel is linked to a redevelopment agreement between the village and Noble Hospitality Inc. approved at the meeting.
The agreement includes a bid waiver that gives Noble the authority to execute its own project in full and in compliance with all rules and regulations.
The agreement was approved by a 6-0 vote.
