The Champaign County Local Emergency Management Program Advisory Committee will meet at 10 a.m. March 29 at the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System (ILEAS) to discuss the committee's mission, members and goals.
The committee will review the language of its mission statement, membership details and meeting frequency.
The committee will also evaluate how well the community is being served in regard to weather events, public education, disabled and special needs, financial resilience against natural disasters, training opportunities, and the use of technology.
The meeting will be held in the ILEAS board room, 1701 E. Main St. in Urbana.
