Urbana to hold public hearing on 2016-17 action plan

The city of Urbana will hold a public hearing on the draft 2016-17 action plan March 22 at the Urbana City Council Chambers.

The plan describes a collection of budgets that will govern allocations for the city's Community Development Block Grant and HOME Investment Partnerships programs. Each program carries substantial leverage in funding affordable housing and other programs in the city.

A copy of the plan is available for public review from now through April 21.

The city is also taking written comments mailed to Community Development Services, Attn: Grants Management Division Manager, 400 S. Vine St., Urbana, 61801 or e-mailed to khmierkowski@urbanaillinois.us.

The Urbana City Council Chambers are at 400 S. Vine St.
