Rantoul to consider $6.9 million in general obligation bonds

The Rantoul Board of Trustees will meet tonight at the Rantoul Municipal Building to review a number of public improvement projects.

Village Administrator Jeffery Fiegenschuh will lead the board in discussions over $6.9 million in general obligation bonds and more than $170,000 in storm water system improvements, split between culvert replacement and lagoon work.

The board will also vote on the appointments of Marcia Jackson and Pam Cheek to the Citizen Advisory Committee.

The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. in the Louis B. Schelling Memorial Board Room at 333 S. Tanner St.
