The Cunningham Township Board will vote on a resolution tonight at its regular meeting that would authorize the township to intervene in proceedings with the Illinois Property Tax Appeals Board.
The entire township is funded by property taxes.
The board will also hear reports from its officers and verify bills to pay from its Town Fund and General Assistance Fund and hold a closed session to consider pending litigation.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Cunningham Township is local government unit with the same boundaries as the city of Urbana that is overseen by a board consisting of Urbana City Council members.
