The Rantoul Board of Trustees held its regular board meeting Oct. 13 at the Rantoul Municipal Building.
By a 6-0 vote, the board approved an $81,300 demolition contract with Martin Brothers, a $160,400 pollution liability policy through Chubb Insurance Co., a $1,397,500 storm water infrastructure contract with Cross Construction, and a $138,073 engineering contract for the same storm water project with Burns and McDonnell.
The board also approved $231,000 for a new fire truck, and the issuance of general obligations bonds to fund the purchase of a tanker fire truck and three police cars.
The meeting was adjourned in 33 minutes.
