Rantoul Mayor Charles Smith recently appointed Brenda Crane to the Plan Commission, with a term to expire next year.
During the Oct. 6 study session of the Board of Trustees, Village Administrator Jeff Fiegenschuh proposed several items be brought before a full meeting of the board, including the demolition of certain downtown buildings, purchasing pollution liability insurance for the village, and purchasing fire and police vehicles.
Village Clerk Mike Graham then proposed additional items for the meeting, including the awarding of construction contracts, zoning map amendments on North Century Boulevard, and new parking limitations on Juniper Drive.
The study session was adjourned after 30 minutes.
