The Urbana Fire Department's Foreign Fire Tax Board will meet Tuesday to discuss plans for the budget, operating funds, rules and meeting schedule for next year.
The meeting will begin by approving previous meeting minutes and reading the treasurer's report.
The group will then deal with a variety of old business, including Open Meetings Act training and discussions on hose-drying racks, a picture board, a plasma cutter and other issues.
The board's new business will cover the 2016 meeting schedule, budget, rules and regulations, operating fund list and other items.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 a.m. in the second-floor executive conference room at the Urbana City Building, 400 S. Vine St.
The next Foreign Fire Tax Board meeting is tentatively scheduled for Feb 3.
