The village of Mahomet's Plan and Zoning Commission will meet Tuesday at the Mahomet administrative office.
Planning officials will consider adopting the proposed new stormwater management ordinance. The new ordinance is required of local municipalities in order to retain flood insurance under the National Flood Insurance Program, which trades comprehensive disaster insurance for adherence to a specific set of preventive measures.
There are no other items on the agenda for the meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
