The Cunningham Township Board approved the town fund of $46,087.41 and the general assistance fund at $16,420.66 during its October meeting in the Council Chambers at the Urbana City Building.
The board did not have enough votes to approve the Homelessness Prevention Handbook, but instead approved a motion to meet with Township Supervisor Michelle Mayol to gather more details about the program at a special meeting.
Township Supervisor Michelle Mayol, Ward 2 representative Eric Jakobsson, and Ward 5 representative Dennis Roberts were absent.
The next Cunningham Township Board meeting is scheduled for Dec. 7.
Cunningham Township Board is a local government body with the same area of jurisdiction as the city of Urbana.
