Environmental Inspector Kim Burnett recently followed up on two leads about trees that posed a hazard to car and foot traffic.
Forestry Supervisor Andrew Lamoreux was first the to spot the trees, both of which were on private property. Each property owner was served a Notice to Abate on Oct. 2. To date, one has responded by having the dangerous tree removed.
The second tree is scheduled to be taken down sometime next week by a privately contracted arborist.
