Construction is expected to be completed today on the sidewalks surrounding the City Building in Champaign, Illinois.
Sidewalks along the north side of the building have been partially closed since Monday while workers make repairs.
With the main entrance to the building still open, visitors have been able to enter from either the west or north sides of the building. From the east, people have been able to access the main entrance of the building by walking around the south side, or by crossing Chester Street at Walnut Street and continuing west along the north side of the street.
Pedestrians are advised to take caution around the construction zone of the sidewalks.
