Property owners in Champaign County paid 1.9% of the value of their homes in property taxes in the second quarter of 2025, which is more than 1.7 times the national average, according to the real estate analysis posted by Chambana Sun.
In June, the median sale price of a home in Champaign County fell by $15,000 from the same period in the previous year, while total sales decreased by 70.4%.
In May, the median sale price of a home in Champaign County rose by $10,000 from the same period in the previous year, while total sales decreased by 58.5%.
In April, the median sale price of a home in Champaign County fell by $5,000 from the same period in the previous year, while total sales decreased by 8.9%.
