Rep. Mary Miller, currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Illinois’ 15th district, posted a series of statements on October 18, 2025, addressing both her religious views and federal policy regarding the Office of Population Affairs.

In a brief post at 14:32 UTC, Miller declared, "JESUS IS KING!"

Later that day at 20:17 UTC, she criticized the Office of Population Affairs and expressed support for actions taken by the Trump Administration: "Rep. Miller: “The Office of Population Affairs has long used taxpayer dollars to advance the leftist agenda targeting children and the unborn. I applaud the Trump Administration’s efforts to root out far-left programs in the federal government that undermine the very fabric of https://t.co/l7h0xwArfG"

At nearly the same time, Miller referenced her legislative efforts related to federal funding for this office: “Republican Rep. Mary Miller of Illinois — who introduced an amendment for the 2023 Health and Human Services and Education appropriations bill to cut funding to the office — lauded the administration’s action.” She also provided a link for further reading.

Miller began representing Illinois’ 15th congressional district in 2021 after succeeding John Shimkus. In previous elections, she won decisively against Democratic opponents—defeating Paul Lange in 2022 with over 71% of votes and Erika Weaver in 2020 with more than 73% support.
