Residents of the Karla Condos Neighborhood organized a clean-up event on October 11, 2025. The event was supported by funds from the City of Champaign’s small grant program, which were used to rent a dumpster for the disposal of large household items. Supplies for the clean-up were borrowed from the Neighborhood Relations Division’s engagement trailer.
According to reports from neighbors, participants enjoyed socializing and working together as they helped each other load unwanted items into the dumpster.
