On October 11, Kellen Brown, an Impact Outreach Worker, participated in the Justice Coalition event organized by the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District (CUPHD). The event featured a screening of the PBS documentary "Discovered Truth: A Healthcare Journey" at the Independent Media Center. The gathering included community members and organizations focused on health equity and justice.

Several local vendors and advocacy groups, such as Be Smart for Kids, Uniquely Blended Mood Modifiers, and the C-U Reparations Coalition, were present to provide resources and engage with attendees. After the film, artists Jarrel Young and DJ Caleb Mutua performed live, offering music that resonated with the documentary's themes of resilience and healing.

The event concluded with an open discussion, where participants shared personal experiences, reflected on the documentary, and discussed ways to improve healthcare access and equity in the Champaign-Urbana area.
