Bismarck-Henning Rossville-Alvin Cooperative High School (BHRA) shared updates this week on student activities, alumni events, and athletic achievements through its official social media account.

On October 14, BHRA highlighted a creative classroom project, posting: "Who knew anatomy could be this sweet? Students made edible skin models for extra credit — marshmallows = adipose tissue, sour punch straws = blood vessels, and lots of creativity in between!"

The following day, BHRA announced plans for a future alumni event. On October 15, the school posted: "Save the Date for Homecoming 2026! If you are part of the graduating Class of 1976 from Bismarck-Henning or Rossville-Alvin, please fill out this form."

Later that day, BHRA recognized a student athlete’s performance at a recent competition. The school wrote: " Huge congrats to senior Blue Devil XC runner Natalie Thomason on an amazing 3rd place overall finish at the Vermilion Valley Conference meet at Winter Park! With this top-three finish, Natalie earns All-VVC Honors for the 2nd straight year! Great job, Natalie!"

Bismarck-Henning Rossville-Alvin Cooperative High School serves grades 9 through 12 in Bismarck and Vermilion County. The school had an enrollment of 334 students during the 2019-2020 academic year, with grade 10 comprising the largest portion of students at 26.3 percent, followed by grade 9 at 25.7 percent, grade 11 at 25.4 percent, and grade 12 at 22.5 percent, according to the Illinois Report Card.
