Rep. Mary Miller, who represents Illinois’ 15th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently used her social media platform to comment on federal bureaucracy, state-level crime policies, and religious persecution abroad.

On October 10, 2025, Miller wrote: “It’s a great day in America! The wasteful, woke, and weaponized federal bureaucracy will be dismantled.”

Later that day, she posted about meeting families affected by crime in Illinois: “I’ve met with grieving parents in Illinois who lost their children to criminal aliens, and their stories are a call to action. JB Pritzker and Brandon Johnson’s pro-crime policies cost lives. Law and order will be restored. @RealAmVoice @BeniRaeHarmony” (October 10, 2025).

On October 11, 2025, Miller addressed violence against Christians in Nigeria: “The persecution of Christians by Islamic extremists in Nigeria is nothing short of genocide. Over 52,000 believers have been murdered, 19,000 churches burned to the ground, and 3 million people forced from their homes. We must confront this evil, stand with the persecuted…”

Miller has served as a U.S. Representative since replacing John Shimkus in 2021. She was elected after defeating Erika Weaver in the 2020 general election and Paul Lange in the 2022 general election. In both races she secured more than seventy percent of the vote.
